Schiphol, 9 October 2015
Starting today, Friday 9 October 2015, Transavia passengers can also book flights for the new routes from Eindhoven Airport to Munich and Prague. These routes are available from 19 February 2016. Transavia has introduced the routes as part of its increased strategic focus on business travellers, especially from the Eindhoven region. The new destinations offer travellers more choice, flexibility, convenience and faster travel.
The new route to Munich will be flown 11 times a week, with flights departing in the morning and in the evening – including a flight on Sunday. Munich has much to offer to both business and leisure travellers. The new route supports the link between the region of Eindhoven and the Munich region. For holidaymakers, Munich is a fascinating cultural destination; the capital city of Bavaria is one of the most interesting cities in Germany. Munich is also the gateway to the Alps, with such popular winter sports destinations as Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberstdorf.
Flights to Prague will be operated 6 days a week (not including Saturdays). Prague is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and its historic centre is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Passengers can also fly with Transavia to both cities from Paris-Orly.
Flights will be operated to the business destinations of Copenhagen and Barcelona from Eindhoven Airport no fewer than 12 times a week during the 2016 summer season. The summer schedule runs from 4 April to 31 October 2016 inclusive. For more information, visit www.transavia.com
