Paris, 13 of Feb 2015
This new route between Amsterdam and Paris-Orly will be operated five times a week by Boeing 737-800 from early June 2015 by Transavia France. The frequency will then be expanded from October 2015 onwards to eight times a week by Transavia Netherlands.
Transavia’s aim is to operate the flight at least twelve times a week starting in summer 2016.
Paris-Orly is the second largest airport in Paris and the gateway for passengers travelling to the southern part of the capital. It also offers excellent connections to the city center.
This route launch is perfectly in line with Transavia’s strategy to offer as broad a network as possible to all major European cities. By doing so, Transavia is strengthening its leading position as the most affordable and accessible airline, especially in terms of hospitality, service and digital innovations.
This new route will also strengthen the Air France-KLM overall leading position on routes between France and the Netherlands including 12 daily return flights between Amsterdam-Schiphol and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
