Earn Flying Blue Miles with Transavia

Schiphol, 20 May 2015

Passengers are able to earn Award Miles on all flights operated by Transavia. Miles can be earned when booking a flight with a Plus or Max fare. Up until today passengers were only able to spend their Award Miles on Transavia flights. Flying Blue is the frequent flyer programme of KLM and Air France with over 24 million members worldwide. Transavia is also affiliated with this programme. Passengers earn Miles on Transavia flights (Plus or Max fare), as well as on flights operated by AIR FRANCE, KLM or one of the partner airlines. A one-way Transavia flight can be booked starting from 5,000 Award Miles.

Roy Scheerder, Commercial Director at Transavia, explains, “By offering this frequent flyer programme, Transavia becomes even more accessible and affordable for everyone. At Transavia, the passenger’s travel experience is at the heart of everything we do. We appreciate our passengers tremendously and want to reward them for choosing to fly with us. That is why Transavia passengers can now also earn and spend Award Miles with us. Just another reason to choose Transavia.”

Passengers who book the Plus fare earn 250 Award Miles per one-way flight, while those who book the Max fare earn 500 Award Miles. The number of Award Miles earned is the same, regardless of distance or destination. It is currently only possible to spend Award Miles on tickets. Luggage and seat reservations must still be paid separately. Additional services (such as priority services for certain cardholders) do not apply to Transavia flights.
